Hi, I’m Lauren
I’m a freelance producer who believes media should educate and affirm its audience, not just entertain.
I provide support from conception to execution for nonprofits and small businesses, helping them to tell their legacy stories and rally audiences around their mission.
I also provide production and logistics support to my fellow creatives so that they can thrive in their artistry and focus on changing minds and shifting culture.
Why Bay Laurel Media? Why not just use my name?
The easy answer is that my name means “crowned with laurel.”
But in reality, besides all types of media, my other first love is cooking. Being a New Orleans native, we use bay leaves a lot. Bay leaves work in the background, a unifying ingredient meant to balance and deepen flavors in the finished product. Sounds a lot like a good producer, right?
In both cases, you may not know why you need one, but you know you do and you feel its absence in the end.
